Icewind Dale 2 was among the first computer games to make use of the 3rd edition Dungeons and Dragons rules, and it offered a lot of Forgotten Realms specific rules as well. Even though I usually found the original Icewind Dale to have a greater sense of exploration to it, this game allows for greater character customization. The new skills and feats system that D&D 3ed introduced really make this a much richer experience in game mechanics.

Icewind Dale is another classic from the Baldur's Gate era. The game is set in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting for Dungeons and Dragons, the same world used by Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights. The game is using the same engine as Baldur's Gate as well, but this is a much more action oriented game. There is very little free exploring, and side quests are at a minimum compared to many other rpg's. Most side quests are just small quests that come up while doing the main quest, and are usually always directly related to the task at hand.

You also create your own party of six characters in this game. This means there will be no interaction between the characters in your party, but you get to create your own ideal adventuring group.

Brothers In Arms Road to Hill 30 is based on a true story where 101st Airborne Paratroopers battle in France against the Nazi invasion. Not only is this a First Person Shooter, but its also a tactical team management game. Instruct your squad to Attack, Hold or Flank the enemy.

Dawn of War 2 is the successor to the popular Dawn of War strategy game. Unlike the predecessor, this game focus on small squad tactics. You control small squads, and a lot of the gameplay focus around moving strategically while making intelligent use of cover and squad abilities. Fans of the Warhammer 40k franchise will appreciate the atmosphere of the game, which really give you a good 40k feel.

I don't know that this will apply to all, but I know that my laptop runs sound through the APU.

So you have skyrim in wine (Or nooby POL or whatever) and it runs! COOL! YOU ARE ONE STEP TOWARD AWESOME!!! Uh oh, why is the intro video so crackly in sound? Huh? NOOOO WHY CAN'T I HAVE SOUND?!??!?!?!?

Well let's address this on a chip level.

With an APU there are multiple streams that say I AM VIDEO, or I AM SOUND, or I AM BLEH and it is always calling for package A B C D. If you don't have them, the APU freaks out and flips on it's back and yells like a child.

What to do to fix this

So we have normal wine, right? HOPEFULLY the latest version of it (1.7.22) and set in.

Boop open your terminal and type
