Whew. I got lucky and beat the heat for four hours on the worst day of the wave. Otherwise it was tough it out. Less than good fun. Funny thing is that my building is amazingly heat soaked. With the window open and the sweetly cool 68F breeze from the South it's very comfortable. But close the window for an hour and it still feels 80F plus in here. And winter chilled water from the tap is gone, gone, gone. Whaa!

The difference between Wild and domesticated man is almost unimaginable.We do quite well in the wild.

Even to this day there is no animal so elusive that men can not hunt or trap it.
Personally I think we will always stand a pretty good chance in the survival lotto.

We are the smartest and most devious species. Depressing of me, I know, yet I'm hoping the NEXT dominant creature will be better than we are.

Time warping. Interesting. I think harmony isn't considered time warping--but then again, it's a bit unusual to harmonize with yourself. What am I saying? It's done all the time. Ideally you have another singer to harmonize with in real time.
