Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

To openly say that the music and musicians he loves and has lovingly presented to us in the rock idiom won't be here in 200 years but Martha will be... Gutsy move Rick and one I completely respect.":O

Chicks White Trash Wedding

Here's the simple truth..Like the truth is ever simple! LOL

Before today I never look into the "Chicks"
Had no idea of what depth of talent they possess.
But I was rewarded for my inquiry
I got a clear and concise explanation as to why the changed their name.

"I believe we can change the energy universe."

Suppose one had a very favorite color.
Let's say blue.
You like to wear blue nearly every day, it just makes you feel better.
Then one day your sitting at your favorite out door cafe in your favorite blue shirt and a thousand white nationalists march by chanting "The Jews will not replace us"

( Like what Jew in his right mind would want to replace you??). elemenate probably and with cause, replace you, never.!
Now they are ALL wearing blue shirts. They choose blue to represent their hate and identify themselves with blue arm bands.

Remember I love blue!
I just love humanity so much more.

Dixie has become a blue shirt. It identifies and honors
the time of endless sorrows in a enslaved south.
It, The Dixie flag, monuments and general bull shit are there to do one thing, not to make the South feel good about it self, but to demoralize those once enslaved.

I would wear blue no more. I would paint my house yellow. I would change my name to Mr Brown.
There is No place in America for any color that is without diversity. We are a blend. We meld together and transform one another from Irish and German and Indonesian and African into and new race of man.
The American race. The race that welcomes all men
as we were and are created from all men.

Only a Democracy can serve the needs of all men.

The Chicks explain all this much better than I.

I've mentioned this film in the past, One of my personal top ten films, but I can be quirky in my tastes.
Here a few clips i found on line.

Probably the funniest choreography you will ever see.The guy shows us everything we should hate about ballroom, then shows us why we should still love it. A minor masterpiece.

Most memorable line?

"But son, I never got to dance my silly steps."
