Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

I haven't heard, seen or thought of the wolf gang in years..."Ah the memories ,the memories"
(From Coneheads)

Thanks Por Por

I had to post at lest one of her songs...I've had a love/hate relationship with her music since I was 10.
On the one hand she's probability the best of what I call the sob sisters. She never met a heart break she didn't want to sing about. Taken as a whole she drives me nuts. But there are songs that despite all my defensive complaints and 50 years, I still listen to.

These two from Ms Lee are new to me. She probably had hundreds of hits, but "The Queen of Rock and Roll?"
Another album that witnessed many acid trips!

Oops, too many posts from moi here. My bad.

Indeed, this is one of the soundtracks of our lives during our wonderful stay in Viet-Nam. It was nice listening to "rebellious" music but we knew we weren't at all rebellious. And where to "rebel" to? Sure, the South China Sea was only a few hundred feet away, but eight thousand miles was a bit much.

Apologies, I'm missing a few comments to all y'all's posted music examples. After a ton, it's difficult to keep old posts and comments on them straight. Allow me to add to the queue, please?

This was the soundtrack from lunch time at my last high school. And no kidding, that place was chock full of darugs.
Oh my, what a misspent youth. As well as young adulthood. Some folks just don't know when to stop. Tsk.

And a version of the original

One just because I like it and it's the real human condition -if we are lucky, and my understanding is you are one of the lucky ones Daniel

Not this time my friend! It studders. I'll google and see if I can find one that plays for me.

Lucky, now there's a word I've done a lot of staring at.

I guess I think of a lot of lucky people as cursed.
Cursed with everything they ever wanted. Crippled by their success.
Lost in dreams of more.

I had a teacher who took everything from me. The I Ching.
My teacher left me with but one question.
NOW?

Lucky to be poor
Lucky to fear money
But fortunate to be here NOW

Now where God can find me.

One's disabilities make fine teachers. They rarely allow for self delusion.
When one is in pain one always knows where one is at.

This leaves only...How one is in pain. how will we greet our teacher?
His face stern and without mercy... We can hardly fail to learn.

For me Lucky is to know God's lathe, Lucky is to be carved to suit his will.

Lucky is understanding that not everything that hurts you will do you harm.
Not everything that harms you, will warn you by hurting you.

Lucky to share with friends these scraps of knowledge.":O}
