Hello everyone, I only have two exams left (out of five) this semester. The last two exams are in subjects that I find easy so I can finally start to have some free time again. Best of all, since I've managed to get through the first semester I have proven to myself that I can do this. Just five more semesters.....
Here in northern Norway temperatures have been slightly higher than usual. Temperatures are just barely below freezing, mostly staying at -3° C. It has been snowing on and off for several weeks so there's not a single spot of ground that is not covered in a decent amount of snow, even the roads are completely covered in snow/ice.
Two months from now I expect we will have the usual 1 meter of snow, maybe up to 1.5 meters. We can have a meter of snow falling over just a few days, but the snow compresses quite a lot when lying on the ground. A couple of years back I remember waking up and finding snow on the roads that reached up to my knees. The people driving a snowplow for a living had a lot to do that day.
