Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

What harmonies these sisters accomplished! Almost beyond human capabilities.
Sorry to double post on what appears to be the same subject.
Shazam! This James Carr sure knew how to genuinely sing rhythm and blues! With the accent on BLUES. Thank you very much for introducing him! I was ignorant of this fine artist.

He was right up there with Otis and Percy.
He wrote "You don't know what it's like, to love somebody."
Hows this for a hook?

There's a light
a certain kind of light
That's never gonna shine on me"

That's the very heart of "Soul"

A repeat! This what we do with the songs and music we love we play them over and over.

As the sun yields to shade
What is beautiful
does not fade
.

but only deepens
in the night
deepens to receive new light,

What I find so attractive about this song/performance Is that Mr. Brown shows us slice of a road tour. So we will understand what he goes though "to be there with us." .
"The only time that is to short is the time we get to play."

He gives his attention first to those who move him from place to mind numbing place. Then thanks to us for waiting in line and singing his songs with him.

Then pulls a reversal on us. Instead of us applauding and cheering at the end of a performance to get him back out for more. He pleads with us to "Stay" for one more song before he has to go back to the drudgery of travel.

Somebody help me out here!
Who is that high toned curly haired red head!?

I think this is a great tune, perhaps sung better by Jackson Browne better than the original. Gotta love the guy.
