Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

I don't know why, but it took me forever to understand I was watching, his last good bye, his burial at sea.

Sail on, sail on.

I don't think all the videos available that feature this song are explicitly "funereal."

He sure was a great musician!

You bring up a harsh truth. Failing the test of time is not something one wants to be said about their art, that's for certain.
All fail the test of time.
It's always and forever only a matter of time until they do.
New music grows upon graves of passing time.

If an old sun doesn't set a new moon can never arise.
"How long should we wish to hold onto the light of a setting sun?"

Solsbury Hill
Peter Gabriel
Climbing up on Solsbury Hill
I could see the city light
Wind was blowing, time stood still
Eagle flew out of the night
He was something to observe
Came in close, I heard a voice
Standing, stretching every nerve
Had to listen, had no choice
I did not believe the information
Just had to trust imagination
My heart going boom, boom, boom
"Son", he said, "grab your things, I've come to take you home"
To keep in silence I resigned
My friends would think I was a nut
Turning water into wine
Open doors would soon be shut
So I went from day to day
Though my life was in a rut
'Til I thought of what I'll say
Which connection I should cut
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom, boom, boom
"Hey", he…
When illusion spin her net
I'm never where I want to be
And liberty she pirouette
When I think that I am free
Watched by empty silhouettes
Who close their eyes but still can see
No one taught them etiquette
I will show another me
Today I don't need a replacement
I'll tell them what the smile on my face meant
My heart going boom, boom, boom
"Hey", I said, "you can keep my things, they've come to take me home"

Thank you for the pointer. If you mean the "Sherlock" series starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman I'm afraid that the fourth season is it, afaik. And has been for a few years.

The BBC probably can't afford to pay the salaries of the two world class actors. So no more episodes. My guess, anyway.

Considering that a new moon is dark...

Considering that a new moon is dark...

A dark moon reveals to us stars beyond number. the light beyond the darkness.
The darkness beyond the light.

The alterations and transformations in nature and in the lives of men brought about by time.
In darkness we may see the light, in light we may perceive the darkness.

All that matters is that things not be rushed nor delayed, that everything happens at the right time.
