Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

Both versions play OK for me. Seems I was mistaken and can't say for certain that I heard castanets in the first iteration.
I couldn't play it at full blast because of the hour being late, now I've heard both versions at full volume. My bad!!
I think I originally slipped into the "it SHOULD be there" zone. As I "heard" the castanets they were a perfect part of the song.

Seems it was clever drum work after all. Oh, the ignominy, oh the shame!
So i won't need to cast a net for castanets? I got a tambourine by mistake the first cast anyway.":O}

I've loved the man for years yet it seems my love was lower in importance, but not really less because I loved the rebel in him.
I've never heard this one before, you are absolutely right, it's very important, and most excellent.
Thank you for stirring it up!!
If you learn to sing along with this song...well it pretty hard not to grow a bit.":O}
So yeah "stir it up little darlin"

Man have-you guys been prolific posters! Short on time today. But look forward to hearing your tunes, at glace you nailed several of my favorites this time around.
until the marrow ":O}

Overclocking? does that still exist? Just plug in a new CPU and your off to the races!

I'm running 2 rigs full time crunching F@H numbers and I'm not inclined to move them! No surie!

I liked this song quite a bit back in the day. Thank you for posting it, PPM!

Some people can't resist the call of the Overclock. It's hard to accomplish and requires book learning and lots of money for extra cooling gear in your computer's box. And if this equipment breaks down, the consequences can easily be disastrous. What's not to love?

It's easily argued that a faster processor can get one the benefits of all that trouble. HOWEVER, speaking of one individual named "D," good luck equaling the performance he squeezes from his already very expensive processor. AFAIK, no one has challenged his machine's performance. And ain't that annoying?

Not for me, but I don't feel that need to compete.

I liked this song too, way back in 1967. A friend of mine made a hilarious comment about this tune in about 1974. And I mean hilarious. I don't want to diss your appreciation for this tune, so I'll only share the joke upon request.
Who am I to discourage a good story? Explain away!

Uh George...I haven't been challenged because no one knows I'm here. Lot's of others have gotten results that rival my own. But 5 gigs seems to be our max with this chip.

They saved Seventies and Eighties music, imho.

Found it! (It wasn't all that hard>)

My friend use to turn this off when ever it came on. I couldn't figure him out!
Then one day he was talking to our neighbor and I heard him say

"I'm a Chevy man."
And I understood in a flash! He was crossing wires but trying to maintain his loyalties.

Trust me it was another age. My generation had a lot of "out growing" of things to do.

I was a fresh day in summer.

We were heading to the beach. This is the only time in my life that my friends and I sang together. I know they were my friends as no attempt to silence me was made, I can hear music but cannot utter it. This is one of the pop hits we sang.

This was the other. by clever manipulation of the radio dial we were able to find one or the other all the way to the beach. I had just finished 6th grade. A golden day in the minefield of my life.":O}

Some fifty-eight years later I find I still know the words. Simple though they may be for me this is rather remarkable.":O}

This is the elevator music side of ABBA

you really don't have to listen to it..just hear it.
Thanks to you George I now know that there is more to be had from them.

I just realized I slighted your post...is the hippocracy dripping off me?
My apologizes George.

"And we must be on guard within ourselves against the faults we have branded in others."
I-Ching

It's a learning process George, a learning process.

Yeah George you owe us a story!

Here's my twist on a popular song, "Everything is beautiful in it's own way."
Made me throw up in the back of my mouth.
So....
"Everything is puke and bull it just gets in the way."

is all I remember. but I'm still glad I did it! LOL
