Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

I didn't actually know who did this song, does anyone know if they've done others?

Must be my meds causing me to post these! Please don't Blame me,It's my meds I tell ya!

Is this the same Jimmy Dean who was selling his "pure pork sausage" from the Atlantic to the Pacific?
But seriously, thank you for posting this classic, porporme!

Probably the last Beach Boy song I liked they went way Bo Diddly with the intro

Did the T-Bird HAVE to be turquoise? And no California plate? I liked this song too, I think it came out at about the time that the family moved from Maryland to Pacific Palisades.

This is a song that played peek a boo with me. It took me YEARS to track it down, I finally found it by chance around ten years ago. I'd heard most of it once and it stuck with me till I found it again. I think it worth thre effort I gave it.

Having found it...I know it will never leave me. This is one of my haunted songs. There are ghosts in my life and some of them live in this song.

I am most pleasantly surprised, thank you Daniel! This is a great tune, I was too ready to diss it because it came with a "Monkees" label.

I remember it from the wayback machine.

We truly are,for the most part, ships passing in the night, out upon an ocean to deep to ponder.
Sailing low in a sky that reaches from the deep to scatter the clouds above.

We see each others lights in our passing and cut each others wakes as we sail on.
None can abandon their vessel, not even for a visit
and the tides that brought us together soon, to soon, part us.

When my ship sinks you will not be able to save me as you sail on.

Yet were it not for your lights bow and stern
I would know only darkness and the deep.

That you too sail these seas makes of me a secret I no longer wish to keep.
But we must follow our charted course, must follow the star we were given.

If there are any heavens that we are to know, we will only know each other...there.

Thank you, this is a great post.

Thanks! If you had to be farming this certainly beats the Central Valley.
God yes! But our summers there were hot, August was unbearably hot at times. but the central valley was and now is in competition with death valley. Both can kill you fast you just see more green in central valley as your going out.

If you guys have not heard this song, well now you can. When people inject humor into songs usually the music or the humor..Well they aren't quite there.

I promise you you will never forget this song. If you know it then sing along with me! ":O}

Sorry I couldn't find a better video.
