I got a lil' boost today.
Sittin' and just listening to it raining like a cow pissin' on a flat rock.
I hear a knock on my apartment door...I open it up.
Standing out in that rain is a young lady who asks me if I need food....she and three others were checking each and every apt.

Hi everyone I hope everyone is doing ok from this coronavirus (
nasty virus). @Daniel~ @danrok @booman everyone else I missed on here. We all here in the US are in quarantine in are homes. I live in Buffalo NY. There saying 2months this will last or more if they don't have a vaccine yet. I guess the Chinese really f*** us on this one. I say we take all the Chinese girls and all the good men and put them in box blow the rest up

One way to stay safe is to get the facts straight. China has little to do with ourcurrent predicament.
We first knew this virus was heading our way in early December.
We ignored China's warnings. We ignored China's successful containment. We failed to order the PPE needed by our medical community. Out Pres lied in his teeth about the dangers. And feeds us his pure bullshit.
The Feds have yet to take any of the actions necessary to safe guard us and lead us back to a semblance normalcy.
God help the people who live in states that are still waiting for federal action.
This would never, could never have been, the walk in the park, removed by a
Miracle the corrupt idiot in charge assured us it would be.
But as things are now America is going to be the worst off country in the entire world. Say thank you Donald dip shit.
From December to late February we did nothing.
In the same time frame South Korea ENDED the virus in their country. China "Claims" to have no new cases. If only mostly true it's a great victory for China.
Right now the virus is devouring in our country, completely unopposed by most states and the federal gov.

This virus as it spreads increases the possibility of mutating into something much more lethal. What then!?
So treat everyone you come into contact with as if YOU have covid 19. Keep those around you safe.

The virus will sicken many and kill a few thousand in our best estimates. But the federal Government is on it's way to killing hundreds of thousands with it's inaction.

So far so good. I stay home, Patti moves though this world with great care and caution.
We are limiting her trips to town as best we can.Covid has yet to infect anyone in Enumclaw, our nearest town...but that is just a matter of time and testing.
This is a great time to be living in relative isolation of the Woods.
This is the time to adopt a military strictness toward any and all contacts.
When taking with neighbors I was greatly reassured when they avoided close contact. We have never felt closer to one another. We depend upon each other to stand guard over our community by staying apart. By making sure everyone has what they need to stay to home.
Was encouraged to learn that our nightly camp fire ,( I'm almost never in attendance,) has been put on hold.
I know my neighbor would like my help setting up a small home theater.
But he won't ask me over. I won't volunteer So we talk by way of phone. I think he's almost got it.
This is important as new entertainment will keep him home.

I'm not quite buying the idea that China has this completely under control.
They don't count cases where the test comes back positive but the person has no symptoms (yet)!
