Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

He has lot of songs I really like, this be one.":O}

Night Moves
Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band
I was a little too tall could have used a few pounds
tight pants points hardly renown
she was a black-haired beauty with big dark eyes
points of her own settin way up high
way up firm and high
out past the cornfields where the woods got heavy
out in the backseat of my sixty chevy
workin on mysteries without any clues
workin on our night moves
tryin to make some frontpage drive-in news
workin on the night moves
in the summertime
mmm in the sweet summertime
we weren't in love, oh no far from it
we weren't searchin for some pie-in-the-sky summit
we were just young and restless and bored
livin by the sword
and we'd steal away every chance we could
to the backroom, to the alley, or the trusty woods
I used her, she used me, but neither one cared
we were gettin our share
workin on our night moves
tryin to lose the awkward teenage blues
workin on our night moves
mmm and it was summertime
mmm sweet summertime summertime
ohhh
wonderin
felt the lightning yeah
and we waited on on the thunder
waited on the thunder
i woke last night to the sound of thunder
how far off i sat and wondered
started humming a song from nineteen sixty two
aint it funny how the night moves
when just dont seem to have as much to lose
strange how the night moves
with autumn closing in
mmm
night moves
mmmm
night moves
yeah
i remember
oh sure remember the night moves
aint it funny how you remember
aint it funny how you remember
i remember i remember i remember i remember
oooohh ohh ohh
and we were workin
workin and practicin
workin and practicin all of the night moves
night moves
ooooh i remember
yeah yeahi remember
lord i remember lord i rememeber

Had no idea what this song was about. Thanks for posting the lyrics.

Truth is I've never really cared for Elvis. But even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Truth is I can't imagine anyone doing this one better.
It's an old song, old before Elvis was born.

Ditto, for some reason Elvis never floated my ocean liner. To be fair I was really young when he ruled the airwaves.

Can't help but love this song. I was once put down for liking Ms Ronstadt by a classically oriented friend. I asked if he had heard "Songs for my Father," Blank stare. Always something.
It's a human failing...We always think out team is the best...by far!! LOL

Aii Chihuahua! Plenty of that kind of noise. Not exactly. As I age I rake myself over the coals for remembered shortcomings.

a Bad habit, one I take great pains to avoid. I try to remember that judgement is not ours. That we were born without any sort of perfection. Our mistakes are the road to a perfection we do not yet have, but has been promised to us in the fullness of time.
