Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

There might have been a bit of drugs involved as well.":O}

Maybe we will never know how that came about. "Smells like Teen Spirit" is a very good song, yet listening to pure anger isn't easy. Maybe hearing a man's truth isn't too difficult when it comes from a great band?

Whenever I explore the land of Yin
I always take one on the chin
And now this lioness has almost made me tame.
I can't pronounce her name but eggplant is her game.
The lady sticks to me like white on rice.
She never cooks the same way twice.
Maybe it's the mushrooms.
Maybe the tomatoes.
I can't reveal her name but eggplant is her game.
When my baby cooks her eggplant,
She don't read no book.
She's got a Gioconda kinda of dirty look
And my baby cooks her eggplant,
About 19 different ways.
Sometimes I just have it raw with mayonnaise.
-break-
Maybe its the way she grates her cheese,
Or just the freckles on her knees.
Maybe its the scallions.
Maybe she's Italian.
I can't reveal her name but eggplant is her game.

She don't read no book.

Not my all time favorite but it IS truthful.

I just took a journey. and learned much about lot of things. I met an old friend for the first time.
I met him though a 1932 rag tag piece of film forever proving his authorship of one of my life's musical lights.

I met Salomon Lindy

Netfilx did the honors. The story of Salomon's song is complex and detailed and long.
and takes us to South Africa where Salomon Lived his entire life in township poverty..
He never saw a dime for a his song that garner close to Twenty million US dollars.

He was the lead singer and leader of Men's choir. and won a small town competition with his song.

Thought a complicated course of events Pete Seeger spotted it among a lot of South African Folk music.

But as it was very African the record company that "claimed" rights to Salomon's song hired Mr Weiss a song writer of some repute to add melody and Lyrics. The whole world attests to the job he did.

But Salomon never heard it Salmon was never paid a dime.

The Doc revolves around a South African (White) writer who spent decades trying to get Salomon's Hairs (4 daughters now old and as impoverishes as Salomon had been) The rights and money due to them.

Now I'll post a song you grew up with and no doubt sang along with
Say thank you Salomon for the ultimate one hit wonder.

Hopefully this is a funny bone tickler. (I far prefer the original "MmmMmmMmmHmm" by the Crash Test Dummies" but Al deserves a gold start for trying)

There are indeed aspect of the female of our species that
"The gentler sex"
Simply does not encompass.

(That's all I dare say for now)
