The first guy is a hip-hop/alternative artist who first became popular in the mid 90s. You've posted his work before; I think you might be getting him confused with the second guy, who is one of the kings of rock guitar that died this week: from the Yardbirds, the Jeff Beck Group, and Beck, Bogert and Appice. Very different ages, very different eras.
