OH! almost forgot

went for an eye exam.
Turns out I have a trigonum (sp) growth covering the lens
of my left eye, going blind, but correctable/
You've heard of cataracts,Yes?

I got one in each eye, going blind, but correctable.
Just need to scrape together a few bucks or get the gov. to
pay for it and new lenses shall be mine!

so how are you and your dear ones at home?
Are You back home yet?
Is it still home for you?

Your Daniel must have aged,I know I have!!
Has Daniel started high school yet?

your dear to me and no detail lacks interest for me!
Give my best to the mob at home!!

Win 11 - the horror! Hope Patti is recovering from that nasty dog. Sure hope you can get the gummint to pay for your cataract removal. Got lucky 'cause of the VA and had the cataracts removed from both my eyes. Murky green gone happy to say, now need glasses to read. Just the opposite of before.

Good luck with the eyes. The government here in Laos recently did my mother-in-law's eyes, and she's happy as a clam now.

I'm still here in Laos because we're having some work done on the house and I'm supervising, but Lee and the kids are back in Thailand and the kids are back in school, thankfully. Anny turned 19 and she's a senior now, planning to go forward and study hotel and hospitality management in a vocational college next year. She's got 3 languages under her belt and is now studying Mandarin.

Daniel is 16 and is getting on well at school although his classmates are nearly 2 years younger than he is. He still has his older friends as well. He's playing his guitar and is in the school 'stage band' which plays contemporary stuff. He comes here once a month to make sure the old man is still vertical and keeps me company.

Otherwise we're all healthy, pretty soon all this trouble will pass and things can get back to normal. We're half-way there :)

Very glad it went well for you!

I have really missed you Me George!

Adele is a gift, unparalleled phrasing, intonation, and a true feel for what she's singing. A rare thing amongst the singers today.

Great piano part, too, well-played.
Sure you right TR, she reaches me, not an easy thing for her generation
