Have you and your loved ones been able to return to northern Thailand yet? If not I hope you can soon, Laos is said to be sleepy and mighty slow paced compared to it's southern neighbor.
No, but I'm not really bothered, especially because Thailand is experiencing a 3rd COVID wave that is causing 1000-1500 new cases a day for the last two weeks. Half of the provinces are in total lockdown from 10pm to 5am, and there is no inter-provincial travel allowed.
My kids are more bothered, and I feel for them. It has been a long time since they've been in school, and they are chomping at the bit to get back. School begins in May in Thailand, but the government has already announced that the school year will begin late, perhaps in August. [in Thailand that means October or November, maybe]
So I am going to look into getting them into a local school here for a while to get their minds working again. When we will get back is up in the air, and not looking any better than it was 6 months ago.
