Stranded Deep on linux + my GPU

What is the SetKey? It looks like I have missed something to do when installed Unity. However it runs good for me, except(because of linux and wine limitations) in DX9.0 mode although my GPU supports DX11.0. I will try 32-bit install, of course!;)

Probably something related to input and your keyboard.
Don't worry about that for now... if you can confirm it runs in a 32-bit virtual drive, then those errors will probably go away

I tried to download one 32-bit file, but it doesn't require installation. It appears to run, but... I tested only intro in plane and nothing happens when I press ESC- is it supposed to be like that? And the window that opens at beginning looks like Unity one:D

What file did you download?

I meant 32-bit Wine:
  • Launch PlayOnLinux
  • Click Tools
  • Click Wine Manager
  • Select Wine 1.7.41 in 32-bit
  • Click the right-arrow to download
When its done, close the Wine Manager

Now click Install
Click "install a non-listed program" at the bottom
Follow the steps and make sure to select 32-bit virtual drive

Install the game and then lets see if it launches

since you found an installer, I suggest using that.
Otherwise, you have to set up PlayOnLinux a bit different.

Good news:
I suceeded to run it. Here is a video:
Hope you like that it runs:
Simple to install:
Download the .exe setup for 32-bit
Open Play On Linux
Press Tools -> Manage Wine Versions
Install latest Wine(You shall install it for both versions otherwise it doesn't show up- that's what I discovered).
Press install
On bottom left: Install a non-listed program
Choose- Use another version of Wine
Select the one you installed
Choose to make a 32-bit wine prefix
Wait for the POL to make a virtual drive
Click on Browse and choose your installer
Follow installation steps
make shortcut for the Stranded_Deep_x64.exe or whatever you get that looks like matching game run file.
Run the shortcut and enjoy playing;)

P.S. Lower GPU than mine will obiouvsly not work or lag a lot:(

That is more-or-less the way I do all of my game tests.
Which packages did you have to install?

Awesome! Congrats!
So any other games you want to test/play, just try those steps in PlayOnLinux and most direct X 9 games will work.... for the most part.
