Well seems you can't use Xbox 360 for this game on yooka-laylee LINUX. First no luck on nba2k15 in wine now this. But you can use the 360contorller in Windows go figure!

anyways enough said I need your guys help I found this guide says I can play the game in LINUX but I need an Xbox one controller but no mention of it being wireless or wired? which one do I get

I'm having a hard time finding anything other than: xboxdrv
Which has not been updated since 2015
 
As Boo mentioned Batman...In Linux, we often have to wait..frustrating I know. I hope you find a solution sooner rather than later.
 
Its so strange and frustrating since my Xbox guitars run GREAT!
I don't get it....
I've even posted for help on reddit and nothing worked.

I tested my Amazon Basics Xbox controller again and the Wine controllers function shows every button working. But it still doesn't work in Linux.
 
I no xbox so I no help. But others do. So let's keep this fresh while you still need help. Best of luck Big Guy! ":O}

Ya just can't go by my experience. But ten years ago or so I tried everything on a half dozen controllers and never got anywhere with any of them. I hope you fair better and the teck has caught up with our needs.
 
I've updated the Kernel on a few of my Mint machines but haven't actually tried my Amazon Xbox controller yet
 
yeah this problem is solved, actually xbox-drv was messing everything up so i removed it and WAAM it worked. So i do not recommend installing it unless your controller is not working at all. But Ubuntu should recognize and xbox controller automatically.


unless its wireless *then you have to do somethings else
