Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

'the ghost and the darkness" is probably the best African adventure movie I've ever seen.

It tells a true and gripping story of horror and courage. This is the true story of two lions that stood for an entire year and stopped the British in their tracks, killing over 130 men in just ten months.
A unique and dark event none can explain to anyone's satisfaction.

Sort of related; this is a presentation about Jim Thompson, who was perhaps Thailand's most famous expat resident, who disappeared and is said to have been attacked by tigers in the jungle. It's an interesting story of a guy who was a government asset and became the biggest silk merchant in the region. His company's silk is still revered all over the world. Have a look if you're interested:

My 1st day of my first year in jr collage. A class on ethics.
As I was leaving I noticed. a pin up boar by the door .

I simply stood there for a 1/2 hour.

I never wanted to forget those words I read and reread , Someone had just told me "like it is"
what i should expect and what there was to hope for.

“Ah, love, let us be true
To one another! for the world, which seems
To lie before us like a land of dreams,
So various, so beautiful, so new,
Hath really neither joy, nor love, nor light,
Nor certitude, nor peace, nor help for pain;
And we are here as on a darkling plain
Swept with confused alarms of struggle and flight,
Where ignorant armies clash by night.”

So like don't go walking alone in the jungle!
So how are you and family in the time of covid?

So how are you and family in the time of covid?

Bored shitless, and looking for things to do around the house. Kids are bouncing off the walls with no school, having missed the current school year. I'm hoping that we'll be able to get them back to Thailand for the April/May start of the new school year.

It's not terrible, though. I might be bored but I'm getting good quality time with the family which is never a bad thing.
