    I'm trying to just install some apps in play on linux. When I do install procedures, I get that tiny box. I don't know what to do. I'm not missing libs or anything.

    I'm in arch!

    Help!

    Boo will know more...

    It looks like Playon is freezing when trying to create the disk space it operate in......Kinda looks like
    arch is screwing with it's creation.
    I say this as I have never seen the screen you are getting.
    I hope this helps at least a little.

    Well it isn't freezing, it just isn't creating any real windows.

    The number of destros that are compatible with playon are limited.
    I tried to get a good result with Mint Debian and fell on my face.

    But as you no doubt gathered I'm extremely limited in the number of things I can handle in Linux.
    You will no doubt do better.":O}

    I got no such issues on Arch with PoL. What WM/DE are you using, have you tried it under another window manager? It is also highly likely that it could be caused by your theme, so I suggest changing to another theme to see if it works better.

    Thanks D. I would have never thought of looking at my theme!

    I have not used PoL myself in Debian, but if you follow the instruction on the PoL website for Debian, I don't think you should have problems.

    I'm not exactly sure how that would affect it?

    Just as closure to this, I did try another theme, nothing changed, and in fact it stayed that way with everything till after 2.25. Eventually I found Lutris and stopped caring about POL.

    Hahaha I know how to debug apps my guy. :3 Nothing popped up as an error, at least a major one. It appeared to just be a bug in POL. Lutris is in QT so this sorta bug is much less likely if theres some blip of code is missing. It'll just say "Hey you're missing this" and they'll fix it.

    It is occasionally, but none of my hacker stuff. I don't generally share that with people. Mostly games, sometimes I stream my editing process of a video. Stuff like that.
