Inquisitor is a classic isometric action RPG with a deep story and a variety of skills, magic, loot, alchemy and more. In this open-ended world, you can play as three classes: Paladin, Priest and Theif.

Follow my step-by-step guide on installing, configuring and optimizing Inquisitor in Linux with PlayOnLinux.

Note: This guide applies to the Steam version of Inquisitor. Other versions may require additional steps.

    Tips & Specs:

Try SteamPlay before using this guide as Valve now uses a fork of Wine called Proton and should run most Windows games.

    Conclusion:
Inquisitor plays really well in PlayOnLinux with Wine 1.9.11-staging. Everything worked from load/save, keyboard/mouse and frame rates on my GeForce 9800. It should run on almost all laptops and netbooks granted the resolution will have to be lowered.

Thanks for taking the time to make this guide. Apart from some audio popping on the main menu of the game for about a minute (?) the game works brilliantly with no other issues on my system. Thanks again.

    Welcome to the forum!
Thank you for confirming. Sometimes its hard to know if the game only works on my system.
    What distro are you using?

Great! I finally upgraded to Mint 18 on a few of my computers, but I'm still also using Mint 17.3 as well.

Switched to openSUSE Leap 42.1 last week. Can confirm this guide/game works perfectly for me. No audio popping on the menu either! Though I suspect that is due to me not having to use pulseaudio anymore... :p
