The development log shows a lot of dwrite fixes: 1.7.36 Can anyone confirm that dwrite is fixed for Steam? I would love to have Steam work without "arguments" and someday in-game overlay.
I'm still using -no-dwrite with 1.7.36. I know because I used 1.7.36 as the base to put Child of Light patches. (The guide is up, i'll post later, gotta go to college).
so there is still missing text without -no-dwrite as an argument? Hmm, I wonder if they will ever get this fixed?
Yep, the text is still missing even in 1.7.36. I don't mind using the argument as I have it automated.
Tested in my case too and letters dont work without -no-dwrite or if you hace entry in steam without see characters
