Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

What's interesting is that a fair face isn't a passport to life's better things. In my ignorance I thought that beautiful women always had an easy go at life. I was informed by my beautiful cousin that this definitely isn't so. Another delusion, shattered.

Beauty is prized everywhere. It can be one of this life's great gifts.

But it draws flies and rats as often as as it draws praise.

Beauty can be one of life's greatest liabilities.

All wealth isolates.
Weather it be wealth of the mind or body, wealth of talent or monetary excess.

That which is isolated is always under attack.

The very great beauty of children endangers them constantly.

To be beautiful is to be desired. to be desired is to be made a prize.

To be sought after is to be hunted.

What your cousin no doubt has learned the world doesn't really want her, they want her beauty...
and many would harm her to possess it.

The fate of the beautiful is often quite unkind.
