Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

Little known fact of Santana fans is that Peter Green is the writer of Black Magic Woman. It doesn't belong to Santana, although they made it popular in the States. Ask any Brit, and the song is Fleetwood Mac's/Peter Green's.
Santana must have made him a lot of money":O}

I met Hoyt in my early 20's.(only once) I liked him quite a lot.
He was singing this song as he toured.

We were going though a heroin epidemic at the time. He told of friends he had lost

WOW! I just found time to listen to my last post and WOW!
This demonstrates how crapply labels treat B and C talent. That ungodly orchestration is Is is Hedious!

It sounds infinity better with just Hoyt.

You can try and listen around it...LOL

Is there a person on the face of the planet who hasn't sung along with this one":O}?

Well your one up on me! Never had the pleasure. Joe's version of "a little help from my friends " can get me jumping...well hobbling.":O}

I'm often disappointed when watching a live video performance, even at times by some of my favs.

I find myself longing for the same tonal qualities I'm use to hearing on the original recording.With this guy, you can forget all that, he brings it with him when he comes!
Turns out I'm not the only one who changes lyrics upon a whip...I DID laugh

That is seriously funny! Nice find Daniel!

I literally stumbled across Zucchero Fornaciari a number of years ago when he paired with Eric Clapton

Thank you for posting these three, PPM!

Off topic, but perhaps interesting, European popular music was so behind the times in 1964...
glad they finally at least tried to catch up with the Anglophone world.

Attacking one of the true greats, sure the lyrics COULD read like this post claims. Ha ha!
B-b-but...

Thought that this is most definitely worth a re-post.

Along with the original, why would anyone else bother to "give" us THEIR version? Can't get better than this, again, imho.

It's great that you met him, I'm glad that you liked each other. Jfsg, (just for poops and grins)
snowblind pertains to cocaine.
I agree, these violins nearer to the end of the song are a REAL insult.
