Was it really THAT far in the past? It's a great song, been a long while since I've listened to it.

I never appreciated what a wonderful song this is.
lot's of admirable things here. But you have got to check out the Trumpet player, he sits just behind the keyboard artist.Or just in front of him. Where ever he's sitting it's a new world for the trumpet. Or is it an Alto Sax?

It's very well done and interesting. The thing in Billy Preston's mouth is attached to his organ, don't think I've seen that before.

I really cant explain my affection for this tune. I think it might be the shear exuberance of youth as it crashes into the the old blues axom:
"its sad its sad

You can love somebody that
