Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

What a great bunch of brothers. They almost defined being a versatile band. I saw their last show on tv, Maurice died two weeks after that.
From the Never ending story.

A defeated giant sits in sorrow over his dying world.
Staring down he morns:

"These seemed like such good hands.. broad and strong tireless at their work.
They really seemed like good hands but I could not hold on to anything I loved."

There is a sorrow at the heart of things as all things must pass.

My appreciation continues to grow over time...

A huge sound for just a quartet

This song will last as long as humanity does. Michelle Phillips looked fifteen times better than Cass Elliot, yet Cass had a huge voice. Perhaps a hundred times better than Michelle's? I know, who cares.

"There is a sorrow at the heart of things as all things must pass." Too true.

Recently really realized that hatred burns bright within me. I hate almost everything, but everything means that I hate myself first and foremost. Not a healthy state of mind!

Three members of Moby Grape played with Jefferson Airplane before founding the Grape. Of academic interest only? For some, yes. But I was and am a fan. Never saw them live, oh the shame of it!
