Who's heard Little Richard sing "Shake a Hand"?

The year I didn't graduate from High school had am upside...No more high school!! OLO.

Maybe I should have stayed in school...LOL

Saw "Echo in the Canyon" on Netflix last night. It's a history of the Sixties and onward about all the musicians who lived in Laurel Canyon. What marvelous music was created there and then. Highly recommended!

This is the 3rd or 4th time I've post Etta singing this song, I think this is my second favorite, how could it be more without Dr John?

But what rapore with her audience, What a p[performance.

What an original character she was. We'll have her on vinyl forever unless we crumble. She sang with bandleader Johnny Otis way back when during her early career. Johnny Otis had a weekly radio program that I always listened to when last I lived in LA.

Arlo is a gifted story teller. I truly love the guy. Thank you for posting "Alice's Restaurant" and this one too!
I had always thought that Arlo wrote this song, but that honor goes to another.
But he sure made it his own didn't he! ":O}..

A very nice selection George!
"one fine day" a particular favorite of mine. Or was many a year gone by.
