So like,... who is!!??
As Obama is fond of saying...
"Don't let the perfect become the enemy of the good."
The perfect is but a dream,
an illusive construct whose only real purpose is to to cast shade on the possible.
The possible is the true child of reality. It grows out of what is and becomes what might be.
Remembering our own flaws lessens our anger in the face of the flaws of those who so imperfectly gave us life.
Our parents judge us, as they must in order to raise us.
Be we children have no need to judge what is beyond our ability to judge rightly.
The information is simply not available to those who only came after the flood that raised or drowned our parents.
When we face our memories of our parents it should be without judgement.
Because we cannot judge what we do not know.
The wise have said that
"To know all is to forgive all."
But if we can not know we can at least refrain from judgement.
If the world did not love us as we think it should have,
Our parents gave us the chance to love this world as we think we should.
