    I sincerely hope that you some how avoided damage to your components after your pump went awol! Maybe you have an alarm of some sort? Come to think of it I don't think I have an alarm. Sheeeit, sorry to learn of this Dan.

    Mebbe I should buy one of those small heat alarms. About $20 iirc.

    Very glad you were Johnny on the spot! Has your pump lasted a good long time?

    Sounds like a decent lifetime to me. But I know nuttin' about liquid cooling. Didn't like the idea of so much scary watery stuff inside my case. I must admit, using it has meant super high performance for you!

    Are you going to order a replacement from that outfit in Federal Way? Name escapes me, but they put together my latest desktop about nine months ago.

    Will Koolance ship radiators/etc to your place in the woods?

    Honestly, I recommend old tried-n-true heatsink/fan cooling. Never failed me before.

    Yup, Coolance is the brand name. Infotechnow.com is the store in Federal Way Wa that at least used to sell Coolance systems and components. Infotech garners strange reviews-- about half and half loves 'em and hates 'em. I don't love them but they've treated me right over the years.

    Dan sure as heck makes his components work hard for him. I wouldn't ask even the best standard cooling setup to work that hard. He leans hard on that i7 and gets probably the highest performance I've seen on GOL.

    I'm greatly hampered in posting. Can't go back and make corrections. No spell checker either, so I'll be doing more reading than posting for a while. But naturally I won't be entirely silent! ":O}

    Oops, that's right--Dan is using a cobbled together moshine atm. I didn't know that Koolance is in Kent (Wa). Wonder if it's any less espensivo than Infotechnow.com? In theory at any rate--no middle man.

    Wow. That sounds like a lifetime job to me, but if you can handle spell check and punctuation you just might get me to my next test stop. Many thanks1 that 1 is supposed to be an exclamation mark, but I can't shift to caps unless I want all caps. I believe you know how I feel about the "caps" key!!
