Linux/HPEnvy/Ryzen5 - formerly AMD vs nVidia... again

But Gnome? Someone mentioned it as a usable desktop? Mein Gott in Himmel, das is nicht gut! Think Cinnamon is light years better. imho.
 
It's only taken 6 months, but this bugger's finally (finally) stable enough that I don't hate it! Although to do it, the kernel and almost the entire graphics/3D stack is the latest development stuff from git (which occasionally leads to needing a boot disc), and includes a very rough-and-ready patch somebody cooked up to get the touchscreen working.
