Thank you K for opening a further window into this. As I limit myself to pot and tabacie, I selfishly didn't look beyond pot.You are of course quite right. And I would be remiss if I did not add that those who know more than I insist that "the natural mind is best."

I guess I should add that others who know more than I do have use pot as an aid to spiritual progress for around 3-5 thousand years in India.

Had I more choice and less inclination I would have probably gone with the abstainers.
Just seems a saver path to me.

But choice is a rarity we mostly do as we are inclined to do. To be honest K.
Career sounds like more fun to me. But that might just be the greener grass were always hearing about.

In any case your bound to have fewer regrets than I...and more children!! LOL

Is it wrong of me to rejoice in ever tale of MS failure?

I mean I wish Kaitain every success! but it doesn't make me sad that he hates MS as much as I do!
Just that he has to use...but who would use it if they didn't have to!?

    Ok I've sorted myself.

I join Cloisters in wishing you a new Kitchen!!

I join you in wishing for a better OS
(God it must hurt to know of a better OS and STILL have to use M$)

Well at lest they pay you to use it, otherwise it would just be to horrible for words!

Perhaps. I think the sweet spot is to be the infrequent user. I find my periods of enforced sobriety by being on site make my first beer taste all the sweeter, and my desire for the second beer... absent.

    "all things in moderation"

Which does little to temper our intemperate desires...

    Wait!

    I think this is where an active will comes into play...always good to have one of those! ":O}

I must live a low pressure life. I love coffee but use it sparingly. Now....Windows or systemd? One's gone and from the little I know about Linux systemd seems here to stay. Hope I'm wrong about this?

I doubt That much of anything Linux is here to stay. We don't (Linux users)
control the hardware as it changes Linux must change. As our needs changes Linux must change

But here's the thing. Can Linux adapt more easily than windoze does?

MS is not known for their flexibility, What is it now 30 gigs of OS overlays?

It must be terrifying too be told to jump into that mess and make substantial changes that won't effect the users....more than the little we need to...to sell M$ 10

    Some of my speculation is bound to be wrong...Please correct me at your leisure:O}

Indeed, Kaitain certainly posted a picture of the world's largest coffee mug. Any bigger and it would require machinery to move it!

While we're on the subject I highly un-recommend made in China coffee mugs. I've had two that had a tiny bit of some oxidizing metal baked into the floor of the cups. What? Lead or another metal's oxidation not good for you?

Otoh, cheap Made in Korea mugs are great.

Of course! That adaptability is both Linux's curse, and its proudest achievement.

Not so much. I think a "C" is just about right...

Less is more in breast size, personally speaking. Many men prefer more, what can I say. Nothing.

Yeah I was hard wired to obsess compulsively upon T&A.

I was sure I'd be free of it by now.

    Thank God that I'm not.

Bill Marr had Eric Idle on his talk show.
Song is now thirty years old.
song is now the song most played at funerals in England.
Song needs to be modified as the universe is so much bigger than we thought!

Is this the well known music piece that accompanied the Monty Python movie "The Meaning of Life?"

It won't play for me as some Youtube selections don't like my browser.

Do what I've been doing. Start to play it then grab the URL.
Then post it here. For some reasons Videos that won't play on you tube can be copied to GOL where they will play!!
I've done this a half dozen times. so far so good.!

I fear that You tube may be having more than one problem. Mine and yours may just be one of many.

So my Monty won't play for you...? Damn. How are we suppose to steal the music of the world and set it free??
