    I have have hummed and stumbled though it in my mind all my life.

    Maybe you have to?
    This is the version that best fits what's in my mind. But there are thousands of versions, But nobody sings it better for me.

    I never appreciated what a wonderful song this is.
    lot's of admirable things here. But you have got to check out the Trumpet player, he sits just behind the keyboard artist.Or just in front of him. Where ever he's sitting it's a new world for the trumpet. Or is it an Alto Sax?

    I really cant explain my affection for this tune. I think it might be the shear exuberance of youth as it crashes into the the old blues axom:
