I'm sure I must have heard tons of ZZ Top. But I can't name a single one. I loved watching Mr. Top take credit for Les's signature song.":O}
Things I didn't know about Little Richard: Hendrix began as his guitarist...lots more I Didn't know here:
I wanted to show a bit of his brilliance as a comedian.... Before I reminded folks of his role in "Natural Born Killrers." Where he gives one of the most horrific depictions of a child molesting father... So vivid and ugly a portrait that I'm amazed it didn't finish him as a comedian. This is a surrealistic slice of that movie. Hint: no one cries when his charterer dies
From anther stream running into the same ocean This guy blows me away. It has been said that he did more with three fingers than all but a very few ever did with five, Actually it's me whats been saying that.":O} This is a treasure for his fans and fans of music history. Patti hates me because of my refusal to give up calling him Da-jango. I explain than I realize that the "D" is silent in the world of men. But Da-Jango just seems to convey the man to me far better than does the name less "sensitive" people insist on calling him! You can click though if you become engrossed as many have This is a SERIES!! ":O} Oh Mared! I was wrong...Not about Da-Jango or his name but it's not a series as I proclaimed. So I'll have back pack them over one at a time...just let me catch my breath! Here listen to this while I'm gone.
Fear not! It quickly goes from German to English. Dajango is a redemption song...maybe we all are! LOL
What's interesting to me about the last one..he has five fingers on the frets. Was this prior to his injury? Did they use someone else's hand in the picture? "Gross, gag me with a spoon!" No on closer inspection it is his hand, just positioned as we expect to see it rather than in use.
It's a role, not the real him. No idea what the "real" him was like. I doubt he was like that awful nasty character.
Crikey, Django, or Da-Jango as you prefer was a beyond amazing master of the guitar. His two fingered capability was beyond plain human. I surely don't have a wide education in styles of guitar playing, but I don't remember any imitators!
I am told he was kind and generous throughout his life. But his talent to appear other wise might have finished him. Hell playing Superman finished one guy. To have been type casted is a real thing .
