"Jailhouse Tears" is a new one to me. Seems that I prefer many of Declan MacManus's with the Attractions songs more than much of his extra curricular works. Can't blame Elvis Costello for reaching beyond his original material, maybe I'm just not a Country fan at heart? I had no idea that Lucinda Williams wrote "Wild Wild Horses", I must congratulate Declan MacManus (sorry, his given name tickles me) for singing the lyrics so that I understand them. The Stone's version was indecipherable.
I was very fortunate during some of the time I lived in California, I came home from work where it was maybe 90F to high above Sausalito. The fog brought the temp there to maybe 65F or 70F. The fog wasn't that widespread farther out of SF. The nerve!
LOLZ George, where do you get these ideas? You had no idea she wrote 'Wild Horses' because she didn't. It's a Jagger/Richards song, for sure. And one of my very favorite Stones songs, perhaps one of the best songs ever.

Marty wrote over a hundred hit songs . Believe it or not he also wrote my big sister's prom song! "A white sports coat and a pink carnation." '
the Stones So many many songs. This among my favorites.. Haunting and coldly beautiful. I just love the intro on this
Someone I always liked but have to admit I didn't really appreciate as much as she deserved to be. There's seems to me to be a certain "relaxation" a "quite" in her voice that lets the music reach me. You were gone to soon, before I came to love you.
Lead astray by a video, it happens once in a while! At least I can understand the lyrics when it's sung by Elvis Costello.
Cass Elliott definitely died too soon. Michelle Phillips's voice didn't hold a candle to hers. But Michelle Phillips was very pretty and Cass Elliott didn't fit that mold too well. No justice nowhere.
