    Conclusion:
Soulbringer is such an old game that it should run on any computer these days. I was even surprised that it ran at 160x1200 resolution, but for fullscreen I had to change my Linux Desktop to 1600x1200 first, otherwise it would appear to be in a window. Some of the character textures looked a bit funny when they were moving, but I noticed that is how the game has always looked. Otherwise, it ran perfectly.

I LOVE this game. I think I have played through it 4-5 times since I first bought it roughly 15 years ago. I remember the interface took a lot of time to get used to, but everything else about this game is amazing. The story, the world, the characters. I was mesmerized by this game and seeing this guide really brought back fond memories.

The graphics were bad even at the time, but that never bothered me. The story is well presented and the game progresses in a very satisfying way. The magic system is very interesting. You can either try to balance your elemental power, or specialize on one or two elements at the expense of other elements. I also really enjoyed how you can set up custom combat combos, which really is the only way to take advantage of your character's automatic ability to dodge.

Now I may have to install this old favorite again.

Great! I'm glad the guide inspired you...
Its nice to see old games like Soulbringer on GOG. I played it a bit and was confused on where to go. The map is static, so I wasn't sure where to find locations... guess I should have explored more.
I was surprised that the camera could rotate 360 degrees. This was rare for games back then and even games today.
Yeah, the graphics aren't great, but the variety makes up for it. Just like Morrowind
