Conclusion:
Jalopy runs almost perfectly in PlayOnLinux with Wine. There are some flickering textures and sometimes the mouse looses control, but other than that it runs GREAT. I had a lot of fun micro managing my car, gas, cleaning the dirt off and trading goods at the market. Just about everything in the game is interactive so every experience will be different.
