    It's been a long while.
I've been retro console gaming a lot. Using a Raspberry Pi, mini consoles, and a 2tb HD (Batocera). Huge fun!
I'm gonna relearn getting my Window games on linux.

    Welcome back rolandttg!

    Raspberry Pi huh?

    Send us some pics!

I've messed with my Raspberry Pi B+ on several occasions and find it underpowered... even for DOS gaming. Even the available games to download can not play very well on a 1920x1080 TV.
    Maybe its the TV???

I even tried to use it just for web browsing but found that Chromium or Firefox just run extremely slow.

I also kept having this issue where it would randomly not power on.
Did a lot of research and I have all the correct accessories:
    • A/C Adapter
    • Case with cooling fan
    • mico SD card
So I've stopped using it at this point. Maybe its my SD card, but I've only used it on the Raspberry Pi. I've re-installed Debian several times and it will work, then just stop working.

I use a Raspberry Pi 4 8gb. Install an emulation platform on a name brand class 10 sd card. Load some roms and off you go. Pi works well as a desktop but I just use mine as retro game consoles.

Nice! I tried that retro gaming Pi distro as well, but I wanted to do more than gaming.
