I got Darksiders 2 on steam when proton steam came out. And been trying to play it with proton it started out good got it up and running. But then i went to change the resolution to 1080p and now the game comes up with just a black screen. I even installed different Linux OS and its still coming up with a black screen in windowed mode. I have all thee Darksiders games on steam and want to know if you can do guide for DXVK or update the guides for steam

Absolutely!
I loved playing Darksiders II in PlayOnLinux, but I always had some graphical issues.
I bet it will run WAAAAYYY better with DXVK

I'll work on it next week as I'm currently testing Darksiders Warmastered Edition

I only have the GOG versions. I didn't realize Darksiders II also got a Warmastered Edition?

I thought Dethinnitive Edition has been around for a while?
It runs in Wine, but I have a feeling it would run even better in DXVK
I'll test this weekend

Darksiders II is running GREAT!
Just played this morning with DXVK and its beautiful.
Anti-aliasing is still causing some graphical artifacts and there is a slight flicking in the sky, but other than that... runs great!
I will be updating our guide this Friday... or posting a new guide... not sure yet

You should just leave the ones already for wine. and just do the DXVK also. those other ones might be useful still

I would but it actually runs better in DXVK. Why leave a guide that doesn't show the full potential of Wine?

Those guides are just nice to keep it might have some packages or variables in the guide that help someone else if something goes wrong. If somebody doesn't have working DXVK graphics card might need to use just wine. their won't be a guide then. Lutris forum is nothing like this my honest opinion. i posted there and got no support. posted 3 weeks ago and still nobody it should be storming with help there its not. This an awesome place you do an awesome job booman

That is true, maybe they have older hardware or a driver that doesn't support Vulkan.
Ok, I'll leave it up... you convinced me
Ha ha
