I've previously posted a guide for Bad Company 2 in PlayOnLinux and it was fairly painless, but there were a
lot of steps. Now with Proton in Steam you can just install the game and play! That is amazing in comparison!
The game ran perfectly in Proton on my GeForce GTX 1060.
