    Metro Last Light in Proton

I need to tinker a bit with it (and the time for it), at the moment I find bottles more straightforward, yet I think heroic is worth looking into.

    Metro Last Light in Proton

Are you playing these games with proton trough heroic or trough steam? Could you do a guide for using heroic as I think you have mentioned you are mostly using heroic nowadays?

    End of PlayOnLinux?

Yes, it is sad PlayOnLinux got abandoned. It was also my tool of choice but as soon they stopped to update the wine versions it was over. Bottles is the closest of all the frontends, IMHO.

    Drakensang Online Guide

Apparently there was a Drakensang (or maybe a proton experimental) update, and now it's working, only the Linux Mint bottom panel autohide requirement remains. So I guess we are golden!

It works, but I have two issues: whenever I restart the game I lose the cursor and the game dosent start full resolution (it just shows a 1/4 of the screen) until I do the deleting prefix trick again.

Drakensang is now on Steam and with a little trick using https://github.com/swillner/highlight-pointer I found in the Proton db compatibility list It's possible to be played again. At this point, we might be disappointed by the game itself, but it is playable anyway. I...

    Bottles - new wine frontend

Well, appimage stopped working, at least in my linuxmint install. I had managed to run some games, they all also worked in PoL too, so no problem. I was interested with it having wine versions and components/dependicies like dotnet updated compared to PoL. Will try again when another version...
