I don't even know why a 60 or 70 year old WOULD play a game. Seems like by that time theres so much more to see and do that is planned that you'd have a thing you'd want to do instead.

It is occasionally, but none of my hacker stuff. I don't generally share that with people. Mostly games, sometimes I stream my editing process of a video. Stuff like that.

Hahaha I know how to debug apps my guy. :3 Nothing popped up as an error, at least a major one. It appeared to just be a bug in POL. Lutris is in QT so this sorta bug is much less likely if theres some blip of code is missing. It'll just say "Hey you're missing this" and they'll fix it.

Just as closure to this, I did try another theme, nothing changed, and in fact it stayed that way with everything till after 2.25. Eventually I found Lutris and stopped caring about POL.

Ok I got it all working now. But the way I have to run it is I need to have the game brightness up, raising the brightness of another screen NOT my main one, and then rais the brightness on OBS. I don't really mind, its just a little annoying. But oh well, I think it will work out better.

What I have even found just says "Yeah its an OpenGL game and the DX renderer wasn't even finished" and the game turns into a VHS version of Alien.

Its not as good as live in my opinion. I hate what they changed with deathmatch and dual. Not even QLJump is the same. They really kinda fucked it up in standard bethesda fashion. Its a wait and see thing at this point.

Well for one you get all the content they release and tourney viewing in game access. So no redistributor bullshit. On top of that your bug reports get top listed so thats nice. Other wise you can play for free with anarki whoever the slipgate soldier guy is and one of the other people thats...

Well I hardly kept this weekly but I had things get in the way. As an update here, we now have Quake Champions in beta! It seems to be very popular now. 30 bucks to buy but also free to play! Very exciting.

Update, it seems to be a problem in the Direct X renderer and how it interacts with WINE and the OPENGL calls. Wine just skips the brightness stuff completely for some reason on whatever screen you put the window on. Something about version numbers? Anyways, found this...
