Conclusion:
Titan Quest has always run well in PlayOnLinux/Wine and the registry fix will improve the missing textures/models bug. Multi-player over LAN runs really well and can host up to 6 player connections. Have you played it for longer time ( like more than 10 hours total )?
As I have bought gold edition lately and after installing and playing for first few hours, it was quite stable. But since couple of days it freezes like every 30 minutes :(
And on appdb site I have read that Anniversary Edition also suffers from freezing.

Found the solution! wine-stating is needed ( as this option did not make to wine yet ) and CSMT must be enabled. Played few times for like 2 hours stright and no freeze!
This game is great and now is playable.

I've installed TQ countless times in playonlinux, 'Cept now for some reason after installing Mint 19 I have no sound.

I installed titan quest in playonlinux booman using wine 3.4 (no staging) with virtual desktop enabled 1920x1080 that's what my monitor is. You can also see the bar at the bottom installing GOG game when virtual desktop is enabled. only thing i turned off was Vsync it has check mark so just uncheck. So cool! I have sound also fun game played a little of it got killed didn't know what i was doing because of my eyes where tired lol. pick up tomorrow morning. Thanks for the guide booman

dlf try wine 3.4 like i did make sure you have virtual desktop set to your monitor resolution when playing. Let me know if it works.

I've heard that Mint 19 may have some issues. This could be a newer version of Alsa or Pulseaudio
I'm not sure how to roll it back to an earlier version.
I'm sticking with Mint 18.3 for now, because every new version seems to have some issues.
