This is the perfect place for Linux discussions So it kinda like a chat room but you all watch the movie together? What an interesting concept...
for example ... we both have a Synaptop account I invite you to join me as I play a movie (that i already uploaded to synaptop) and at the side or bottom (depending on our preference) we can start a text chat that way we can chat about the movie without having to stop it or talking over the sound ofc if you want a voice chat you can too and u can make groups too to watch any video together...for example it could be you, Daniel, Daeradin and me. sharing Game of Thrones or a soccer game or maybe watch you while you play your games... I use it to watch movies with my romanian friend Octavian.-
Oh, I didn't realize it was movies we have to upload. I thought it was like Netflix movies. Still that would be cool for a presentation.
How do they get around copy-write? It is a bit like offering the movie to the public, if a rather limited number of the public. In any case, enjoy!
Yeah, that's what I was wondering. Our copyright laws are insane in a number of ways, but they still allow you to have multiple viewers in your own home. Effectively, this is running a movie theatre for you and 5,000 of your closest friends. Not sure how they can avoid getting stepped on here.....
Honestly I dont know and I dont care. I just use it to watch something with my friends. Like in the living of my house.
I hear you, and hopefully some stupid ambulance-chasing lawyer won't make it your problem. However, I don't see how the company is going to be able to stay out of legal trouble. 'Course, I'm not a lawyer, and I have no desire to debase myself sufficiently to become one. All of which means that what seems perfectly logical to us is of absolutely no relevance.
Hello Lorena Please understand nobody is judging here! Legal and moral in my experience have only a passing acquaintance with one another. My wish is that you and your friends enjoy many evenings as you have described! ":O) Yet Gizmo and I have seen many a good thing lawyered to death...sadly our remarks are due this apps similarity to those that went before and are no more! Rest assured that we hope this app avoids that fate. We just don't See how, as yet! ":O}

BTW good news in my front - The doctors said I can go back to work - Now I must find one... Hopefully I think Im going to get one soon. Had some interviews these last days... Hi Daniel!!! Honestly I'm looking for anything.... But i have experience with gastronomy and commerce. I mean i can sell anything from shoes and clothes to electronics and computers. About gastronomy, I worked as restaurant manager many years but i don't care if I have to go as a waitress. Don't forget I just recovered so sometimes its hard for me to be waiting tables because I'm still clumsy with my body movements. Anyway I'm going to keep searching, sooner or later I'm going to get a job.-
