Rule of Thumb
High settings = More detail, lower frame rate
Low settings = Less detail, higher frame rate

Conclusion:
Remember installed and ran perfectly even when I didn't pre-install all of the required libraries. I experienced good frame rates with my GeForce 550 Ti and Graphics/Shadow quality set on medium. The only strange thing I experienced was the lack of a mouse pointer. The mouse works fine in all the menu's, I just can't see it.

Gameplay Video:

Note: The crackling audio does not happen in actual gameplay

Very good guide as always, this game runs good in my case runs around 35fps with pentium g3220 at 3.0ghz

However since change for pentium g3258 (4.1Ghz OC) + artic cooling 11 plus many games improve thanks frecuency boost

For example abyss oddissey runs at 30 to 35fps in regular wine version, with new cpu ups to 42 to 47fps and with csmt (stefan dosinger git) to 57 to 62fps, rise of the triad also up 25 to 30fps and with csmt (stefan dosinger git) to 36 to 44fps

Blur runs around 27 to 30fps and now runs around 40 to 45fps in regular wine (in csmt loss around 8 to 10fps)

However many titles dont up performance with csmt like as farcry 3 when with csmt runs around 26 to 30fps meanwhile regular wine runs around 35 to 40fps, the saboteur runs around 25 to 30fps meanwhile regular wine runs around 35 to 42fps and this occur in other cases

Maybe appears next wine test this title with this new cpu

However thanks to wineconf 2015 appear good news in relation wine 1.8

Hello,

at WineConf we had a fairly uncontroversial discussion about the Wine
Stable release process. As the current process of feature based Wine
releases isn't working following changes were agreed upon.

Release Process Changes
- -----------------------
- - Switch to time based releases.

- - Major releases once a year in autumn/fall. Code freeze starts around
mid/end of September.

- - Michael Stefaniuc will be the stable maintainer starting with 1.8.x.
Other people are more than welcome to help out with Wine Stable.
I'll document stuff and send out a request for help during the code
freeze.

- - The stable release will be supported in bugzilla.

- - This changes take effect immediately. You can expect Alexandre to
announce a code freeze in the next couple of weeks.

- - We will revisit this changes should the need arise, e.g. reduce the
time between two major stable releases.

Adding to wine testbot stay very active this days for this reasons dont update git

But appears many commits of sebastian lackner (staging) and many others:

Next wine is possible have many changes to regular wine versions

Did you have any problems seeing the mouse pointer?
Mine was invisible, but I could still navigate the menu's
Also, I didn't need to use -no-dwrite argument with Wine 1.7.51-staging
