I just noticed that Moddb.com now has a Linux Tab. http://www.moddb.com/ I'm seeing dedication to Linux Gaming everywhere now: Amazon Valve Desura Epic Crytek Moddb.com Anyone else? Anyone?
Hi Booman, you forgot GOG, Codemaster, WMD Portal (look at the Steam OS logo) and XCOM: Enemy Unknown. Furthermore, Epic Games is working to reboot Unreal Tournament using Unreal Engine 4.1 (which supports Linux), although some guys at Beyond Unreal think it will be only a console game.
Oops, forgot about GOG... which is kinda ironic because most of their games work fine in Wine. I didn't know about Codemaster and WMD Portal. I'll keep an eye on those as well. I'm definitely curious to see what Epic can come up with for Unreal. They have pushed the whole "tournament" idea as far as it can go. I almost wonder if they are going to a Borderlands route with classes, leveling up, cooperative campaigns?
Booman, probably you have already seen this on Reddit or some other site, but now we know that the new Unreal Tournament will have Linux support and will be free. Of course, remembering very well their shameful behavior with UT3 for Linux, I will believe when I see it, but it seems to be a very promising start.
Yeah, i saw that. Did they really say ut4 would be free! I'm shocked it is going to be free, but. Then again the last unreal tournament didn't require a cd in the drive, so you could install it as many times as you want.
