I just installed Mint 16 64-bit on my Super Computer:
    AMD Phantom II 3-core
    GeForce 550 Ti
    Samsung SSD

So far I have installed the Nvidia proprietary drivers via synaptics software manager, then installed Updates, Wine and ia32-libs (32-bit libraries)
I decided to install PlayOnLinux from their website. I just downloaded the Ubuntu.deb file and double-clicked to install.
The reason is because Software Manager still has the older version.

    Next on to my games!

    Drakensang runs just fine!
I had it up withing only a few minutes. I re-downloaded libraries just to stay up-to-date.
PlayOnLinux never tells you if the libraries are new or old.

How did you partition the drives?
How big is your SSD and did you put the root partition on it?

    Samsung SSD 120Gig:
    swap - 5 Gig
    \ - 125 Gig

Normally I would have separated the home directory or even a "games" directory, but since I'm mostly testing games and then uninstalling, its not a big deal. I back up everything to my Fedora server.

    Windows 7 250Gig:
    Wifes partition - 70Gig
    Win & Games - 120Gig
    Extra - 30 Gig
