It's a legal requirement in some places.

Really? As in Police cars or government officials?

For some reason, I am thinking it is law somewhere for all cars to have dashboard cameras. Just can't remember where it was now.

In Russia almost every car has one, no legal requirement, but a high number of insurance scammers causing accidents has led to that.

So it just comes with the car? Who monitors the feed?
