If you count old steam games and what I have on DVD I'd guess around 25 or 30, that's with my PS 3 games thrown in... most are all played out and gathering dust though...I have close to a dozen games I've set up in Linux, most of which I have yet to play....But I'm working on it! ":O}
Thats right, and you gave me a bunch of them too... the Quake Franchise. I don't know why you gave me Halo?
I almost laughed out loud!!! Microsoft over promotes games and Halo is one of them. I played it a little bit hoping for something new and excited, but I was not impressed. Halo seems to rip off elements from many other games and then Microsoft puts a bunch of money into advertising it. Did you know Bungie developed Halo? They were the ones who made the Marathon franchise for... wait for it... MAC only!!!
I don't fully understand the whole Halo franchise? They keep making more but don't really seem to offer anything original I just tested Brink in Mint 14... after some troubleshooting it ran in Wine 1.5.18 But I'm finding its falling in the same category... nothing new!!?? The graphics are stunning and beautiful! But, its a run-n-gun first person shooter where you complete simple objectives. There is a cooperative element but I can't figure out how to run it without internet. I was hoping the climbing element would bring some new gameplay but you really don't need to climb at all. And its nothing close to climbing in Assassins Creed! You can only climb objects or walls at a certain height. Anything above that can't be climbed. So much for the Tomb Raider action in a First Person Shooter.
I'm a big FPS fan...and like I said I found it frustrating and not very entertaining...so I gave it to a close friend...Ya do know that not everything in life makes sense right? ":O}
Actually, that rather depends on the # of posts per page I have set in my profile. Right now you're on the same page, but I could quite easily make a change in the settings and have you be on completely DIFFERENT pages.
