I found Dark Souls on GamersGate for $5.00 and it gave me a Steam KEY Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition Dark Souls II: Scholar Of The First Sin $16.99
That is what I've heard. I hope there is a save-at-any-time function built in. I hate checkpoints and auto-saves.
Oh, that you shouldn't worry about! The game saves every time you kill an enemy (any enemy, and for a good reason, haha). It will save though, I've never _explicitly_ saved the game though.
Ok, I've read so many good things about the Dark Souls franchise and I've been asked to do guides. Finally found it on sale and downloaded it this morning. So I'll be testing it this weekend in Mint 17.2 64-bit of course. I probably won't be playing the whole game since I am still playing Dungeon Siege III and now DeathSpank
checkpoints suck so much in this game... basically you kill a bunch of zombies and finally get to a bonfire to save your game... little did you know, saving the game brings back all of the zombies again. Then you eventually get to the next boss and die, returning to the bonfire and re-spawning all of the zombies again. So not only do you have to make it to the boss alive, if it kills you, you have to kill the same friggin minions all over again and again and again and again. I like Dark Souls but I also HATE it! If I die two times without progress, I have to quit and try another day
