If you wish to run fullscreen at 1600x1200, you will need to edit a config.
Go to: /home/username/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/heretickingdoms/drive_c/GOG Games/Heretic Kingdoms
Open config.cfg
change
toCode:gr_resolution= 1
Save config.cfgCode:gr_resolution= 3
Conclusion:
Heretic Kingdoms ran fine on my GeForce 550 Ti. Its an older 2D game so it should run on just about any laptop or netbook as well. The highest resolution it will run is 1600x1200 but you have to set it in the config.cfg file.
I know the game starts off kinda cheesy, but it gets better as you progress.
