I have this old arse acer KAV10 netbook and I'm going to stress test it for different games. Each game that I play I am going to make a video and post the attempt(s) here.

For the record this is an Intel GMA 945 GPU (actually it's a gma x1300 I think but I'm not sure). This is not an impressive GPU, obviously, but I can play Deus Ex 1 full throttle in mint, which is better than deus ex on extreme low in windows.

Anyways, when I find a happy OS for this stupid thing I will post the vids here.

That GPU is way better than my HD 2000 in my Chromebook. Sucks because I purchased it last year. You would think they could put something a little more powerfull in a netbook, but guess not.
The newest game I can play in ChrUbuntu is Torchlight 1.

Go try arch you'll have better luck.

Or at least use AwesomeWM so your VRAM isn't eaten up.

I don't know how you did it... what GPU did it have?
The only things I can upgrade on my Chromebook is:
    • Battery
    • HD to SSD
    • Memory

    Ah Steam streaming!
I tried Torchlight II and it ran pretty well. There were some artifacts due to the streaming.
What resolution did you use on the desktop?
